There’s something about Mary (FIRST DRAFT)

WARNING: This little reflection of mine is still very much a work in progress—been tinkering with it for the better part of a month now. I have taken to fact-checking and chatting with my women friends to gather their thoughts. For all my effort, I must admit a plain truth: I cannot, for the life of me, think like a woman. It is not for lack of trying, mind you, but there are depths to their thinking that remain, for me, as mysterious as the far side of the moon. —————– Let me tell you a tale about two … Continue readingThere’s something about Mary (FIRST DRAFT)

Relationships are like Astronomy, Really!!!

Relationships, are as wild and wondrous as the solar system itself—a grand celestial circus where planets, moons, and stray asteroids all play their parts. Picture this: some of us are planets, steady and solid, pulling others into our orbit like loyal moons. These moons circle us faithfully, basking in our glow, until one day they might grow restless and drift away. And who can blame them? Freedom has its own pull. Sometimes, two planets find themselves caught in each other’s gravity, spinning a wobbly, dizzying dance. It’s a spectacle to behold, but it’s not always a smooth ride. Too … Continue readingRelationships are like Astronomy, Really!!!

A tOUch of Chaos

Let me share something I’ve noticed over the years about women, something I don’t think gets talked about enough. Sure, people will tell you women want security—stability, comfort, a home that feels like a warm hug against the chaos of life. And that’s true, no doubt about it. But there’s something deeper, something just under the surface that a lot of folks miss. Women also crave a little bit of unpredictability, a touch of chaos, just enough to keep life from feeling like it’s on repeat. Now, I’m not some relationship guru or armchair psychologist—just a guy who’s spent … Continue readingA tOUch of Chaos

Have coffee like a Champion…

It was a breezy evening as Alex sat across from Clara at a small cafĂ© tucked into the corner of a bustling street. Their conversation flowed easily, though Alex could feel the weight of wanting to make a real impression. He didn’t just want to charm Clara with surface-level banter; he wanted her to walk away feeling like she’d been truly seen, truly known. Alex took a sip of his coffee, gathered his thoughts, and leaned in slightly. “Can I ask you something? It’s a little different, but it’s something I think helps me understand people better.” Clara smiled, … Continue readingHave coffee like a Champion…

Someone I used to know

Well now, let’s be honest, you never meant to show me that ragged old attic of your soul—those crooked beams and dusty rafters best left alone, I suppose, with the spiders’ webs and the stale old secrets hung up like Sunday hats. Yet show me you did, as if throwing open a door one gray morning and announcing, with fine ceremony, that we should both take a good, hard look at the mess inside. I must say, I found that rather impolite, though I doubt politeness was the order of the day. All this rummaging through the shabby corners … Continue readingSomeone I used to know

Embers of Passion

In a cozy nursing home nestled amidst rolling hills, the lives of two senior citizens, Arthur and Evelyn, unfolded with unexpected twists as the flame of lust flickered amidst their blossoming companionship. As they embarked on a journey of love and rediscovery, they found solace in closing their eyes and reminiscing about their younger years, allowing the memories to intertwine with their present desires. Though their bodies aged and time had gently weathered their features, the embers of desire still glowed within them. Their conversations took on a playful undertone, filled with witty banter and subtle innuendos that danced … Continue readingEmbers of Passion

Two Faces

Sheila was afraid of love A trauma in her past Had made her close her heart And shield it with a mask Her fear of commitment Left her feeling alone But she knew deep inside She longed to be shown The emotional and physical Intimacy she craved So she took control And safe ways she braved Max, her furry friend Provided comfort and care An emotional support With love beyond compare Through her journey, she learned That healing takes time And with self-care and patience Her heart would once again chime She met someone special A connection so true … Continue readingTwo Faces

LOOK then in the EYES.

The Art of the Close Look them straight in the eyes — steady, calm — and deliver your line. Then lean in slightly… and whisper the punch line. Pause.Laugh. Turn as if you’re about to walk away — slow, confident, unhurried. Then glance back, just halfway, and let the silence do the work. That’s when they’ll come to you. Congratulations — you’ve just closed the deal. Collect your check, kiss and shut up.  Because buying a car — or anything worth negotiating — is just like dating. It’s all about timing, confidence, and the power of the pause.   Just in … Continue readingLOOK then in the EYES.

The story of Katrina… New Version Available

New and Improved version here: The Story of Katrina The story of Katrina.   Foreword In her youth, Katrina was a sprightly thing. But, fate being the fickle critter that it is, had an accident in store for her. Though it left her with physical scars, the emotional scars ran deeper than a Mississippi riverbed. Victims of insanity

We are prisoners of repeating history. We are victims over an over. Blameless perhaps because we follow the same path but tragic just the same. We have to break the chains that bind us to poverty, failed relationships, unsatisfying jobs and on a global scale war, poverty, hunger and every other malice. So why do we repeat the same wrong time after time. It has to do with being human. We all remember the power and acceleration of a fast car, we don’t remember the bad fuel economy or other problems. We must all think before we react again….

The Power of a Whisper

Sometimes, a whisper speaks louder than a scream. A whisper, like a kiss, is less about force and more about timing It is more about intent than substance. What do you long to hear in a whisper? A melody of lovely thoughts, a symphony of passions, or perhaps the unspoken truths of your deepest self? Are you surrounded by people, yet feel alone? Remember this… It doesn’t matter- nothing matters In the arms of someone you love, even the softest whisper can halt time itself. In that fleeting moment, the world stops, and nothing else matters except the connection … Continue readingThe Power of a Whisper

Explorations in Honesty. The Bright, Blinding Beast

Honesty is such a gray word. One might expect something as simple and virtuous as honesty to be clean-cut, black or white, solid as a preacher’s handshake. But we don’t live in a black-and-white world. All our perceptions are blurred, smudged in shades of gray like an overused pencil eraser. True honesty—pure, unadulterated truth—would be a light too blinding, too hot, for our tender souls to endure. It would sear us to the core, leave us naked and trembling like sinners on judgment day. And so we compromise. A little dishonesty here, a dab of self-delusion there, like smudges … Continue readingExplorations in Honesty. The Bright, Blinding Beast

Confessions of some of my deepest thoughts

Things you probably don’t know about me….   I get up in the middle of the night to write on my computer and don’t really sleep much  I love to paint, and sculpt in many different mediums. Never said I was any good   I used to be the total nerd and wore glasses to look older so people would respect me.  I taught classes at a College once… I got tired of saying same thing over and over again.   I am much more open in my writings than in person, I tend to go a little more over the top … Continue readingConfessions of some of my deepest thoughts

HOW TO SEDUCE HER

Not all women are the same — especially if they still haven’t gone through that first love experience. But this does not mean you still can’t flirt with that beautiful twenty one year old red head that works in the same building as you. Some young women will entertain the idea of dating an older man, while others will diplomatically pass up the invitation. But if you want to improve your chances, then you should keep these tips in mind: Be a friend: The last thing a young woman needs is a man that wants what every other boy … Continue readingHOW TO SEDUCE HER
